This is just a quickie. Recently I’ve been making a lot of chorizo sausage rolls and every time I’ve posted pics on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook, I get loads of messages from people asking me how to make them.
They’re so ridiculously quick and easy, its dangerous. I can’t seem to stop making them! So I decided to put them up on the blog so other people can try them out too.
You just need two thing…some ready-rolled puff pastry (I use Jus-Rol) and some chorizo sausage. On this occasion I used the Sainsbury’s Taste The Difference chorizo style sausages (400g) Oh, and an egg.
Just unroll the pastry and slice in half lengthways. Then simply squeeze the sausage out of its casing and straight onto the pastry like this…
Then fold the pastry over and crimp the pastry with a fork. Brush beaten egg over the top then cut into the desired size. Place onto a baking sheet lined with greaseproof paper like this…
And pop into an oven preheated to 180C for 15/20 minutes or until golden brown…
Try not to burn your mouth eating them straight from the oven!

They look amazing and sound so easy to make!! Do you use the cooked chorizo or uncooked? Sam x
Uncooked. Just the raw sausage. It will cook in the oven. I hope you like them! x
