Remember this? Bird’s Ice Magic was a staple of my childhood. I was never much of a fan of ice-cream until my mum returned from the supermarket one day with Ice Magic. Suddenly my brothers and I were obsessed!
After you squeezed it over your ice cream it would set hard to create a shell of delicious chocolate. Ice Magic came in a cone shaped containers and the lid had a wobbly edge that made it look like a coating of the ice cream topping had been applied to it. It came in chocolate, chocolate orange and chocolate mint varieties. My favourite was the chocolate. I used to make all sorts of shapes and patterns which froze to create hard shapes which I then promptly ate!
Alas, Ice Magic is no longer available in the UK. There are other brands offering a similar thing but its not the same. The bottle made it.
